CleanCash.com was set up by retailer Eamon Nealon and engineer Patrick Fitzgerald to address the problem of cross contamination carried by money.

We strongly feel that money returned to customers as change should first be treated to eliminate any viruses, germs and bacteria, as we do not know who previously had the money, where they had kept it, what they did with it or what illnesses they may have suffered from.

We feel this should be a basic Health and Safety Requirement.

CleanCash.com are based in Limerick, Ireland. Limerick is a River and University City. It has been a centre of trade since Viking times, and is one of the oldest chartered cities in Ireland. The original city occupied a defensive island site located between the Shannon and its tributary, the Abbey River. This area of King's Island forms the historic core of what is now the third largest urban area in the State, and the industrial, commercial, adminitrative, and cultural capital of the Mid-West Region.
